# MyFrontier vs Daniels Energy

The clearest difference is rating: MyFrontier at 4.7 against Daniels Energy's 3.2. MyFrontier also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 16 months) and ratings volume (190K vs 6). Daniels Energy's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 30%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MyFrontier holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyFrontier has 190K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of MyFrontier's written reviews are positive against 50% of Daniels Energy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MyFrontier ships an update monthly, Daniels Energy every 16 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
