# Browsec VPN vs CommentExtractor

The clearest difference is rating: Browsec VPN at 4.7 against CommentExtractor's 3.7. Browsec VPN also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (50% vs 24%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Browsec VPN sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and CommentExtractor sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Browsec VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Browsec VPN has 17K ratings behind it against 66, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of Browsec VPN's written reviews are positive against 24% of CommentExtractor's.

Browsec VPN ships an update fortnightly, CommentExtractor weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
