# Browsec VPN vs FlowShift

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FlowShift at none against Browsec VPN's 14. FlowShift also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Browsec VPN's advantage is ratings volume (17K vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Browsec VPN sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. FlowShift asks for nothing beyond the download.

FlowShift holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Browsec VPN has 17K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
