# Sunset Predictions vs 卫星云图

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: 卫星云图 at none against Sunset Predictions's 10. 卫星云图 also leads on review sentiment (70% vs 48%) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.6). Sunset Predictions's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 4 weeks). On price there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sunset Predictions sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. 卫星云图 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sunset Predictions holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sunset Predictions has 2.1K ratings behind it against 183, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of Sunset Predictions's written reviews are positive against 70% of 卫星云图's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sunset Predictions ships an update every 5 days, 卫星云图 every 4 weeks. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
