# Cat Simulator 2 vs Bubbu

The clearest difference is rating: Cat Simulator 2 at 4.7 against Bubbu's 4.2. Cat Simulator 2 also leads on ratings volume (17K vs 2.6K) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). Bubbu's advantage is review sentiment (86% vs 72%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cat Simulator 2 sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Bubbu sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cat Simulator 2 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cat Simulator 2 has 17K ratings behind it against 2.6K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Cat Simulator 2's written reviews are positive against 86% of Bubbu's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cat Simulator 2 ships an update every 2 months, Bubbu monthly. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
