# Magic Launcher Widgets vs AnyWidget

The clearest difference is rating: AnyWidget at 4.4 against Magic Launcher Widgets's 3.8. Magic Launcher Widgets's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magic Launcher Widgets sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and AnyWidget sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AnyWidget holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 81 and 98 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Magic Launcher Widgets's written reviews are positive against 38% of AnyWidget's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Magic Launcher Widgets ships an update weekly, AnyWidget every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 8, 2026.
