# Magic Launcher Widgets vs SuperWidget

The clearest difference is rating: SuperWidget at 4.4 against Magic Launcher Widgets's 3.8. Magic Launcher Widgets's advantage is review sentiment (60% vs 33%) and ratings volume (81 vs 11). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magic Launcher Widgets sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and SuperWidget sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SuperWidget holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magic Launcher Widgets has 81 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Magic Launcher Widgets's written reviews are positive against 33% of SuperWidget's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Magic Launcher Widgets ships an update weekly, SuperWidget fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
