# CamHi vs Netcam

The clearest difference is rating: Netcam at 5.0 against CamHi's 2.7. Netcam also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). CamHi's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and review sentiment (25% vs 0%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Netcam sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. CamHi asks for nothing beyond the download.

Netcam holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CamHi has 464 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of CamHi's written reviews are positive against 0% of Netcam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CamHi ships an update every 3 months, Netcam every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
