# Mavis Camera vs Easy Release Pro

The clearest difference is update cadence: Easy Release Pro at every 2 days against Mavis Camera's fortnightly. Easy Release Pro also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). Mavis Camera's advantage is review sentiment (59% vs 33%) and ratings volume (748 vs 13). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mavis Camera sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per 7 days and Easy Release Pro sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Mavis Camera against 4.4 for Easy Release Pro. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mavis Camera has 748 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 59% of Mavis Camera's written reviews are positive against 33% of Easy Release Pro's.

Mavis Camera ships an update fortnightly, Easy Release Pro every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
