# Mavis Camera vs HypeShot

The clearest difference is update cadence: HypeShot at every 6 days against Mavis Camera's fortnightly. HypeShot also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mavis Camera sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per 7 days and HypeShot sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mavis Camera ships an update fortnightly, HypeShot every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
