# Mavis Camera vs Cine Desqueeze

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Cine Desqueeze at 100% against Mavis Camera's 59%. Cine Desqueeze also leads on update cadence (daily vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). Mavis Camera's advantage is ratings volume (748 vs 5) and rating (4.4 vs 4.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mavis Camera sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per 7 days and Cine Desqueeze sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mavis Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mavis Camera has 748 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Mavis Camera's written reviews are positive against 100% of Cine Desqueeze's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mavis Camera ships an update fortnightly, Cine Desqueeze daily. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
