# Mavis Camera vs 28Rcam

The clearest difference is update cadence: 28Rcam at every 5 days against Mavis Camera's fortnightly. Mavis Camera's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mavis Camera sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per 7 days and 28Rcam sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mavis Camera ships an update fortnightly, 28Rcam every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
