# Helicute FPV vs RC

The clearest difference is rating: RC at 5.0 against Helicute FPV's 3.1. RC also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 11.0). Helicute FPV's advantage is ratings volume (69 vs 3) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RC holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Helicute FPV has 69 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Helicute FPV ships an update monthly, RC every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
