# Floppy Red Fish vs Flappy Fish

The clearest difference is update cadence: Floppy Red Fish at every 4 months against Flappy Fish's every 18 months. Floppy Red Fish also leads on iOS requirement (12.1 vs 16.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Floppy Red Fish sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Flappy Fish sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Floppy Red Fish ships an update every 4 months, Flappy Fish every 18 months. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
