# Word Master vs Duplics

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Word Master at none against Duplics's 7. Word Master also leads on ratings volume (19K vs 1). Duplics's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Duplics sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Word Master asks for nothing beyond the download.

Duplics holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Word Master has 19K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 77% of Word Master's written reviews are positive against 83% of Duplics's.

Word Master ships an update every 2 months, Duplics every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
