# Encrypted Email vs InvenTree

The clearest difference is review sentiment: InvenTree at 100% against Encrypted Email's 47%. InvenTree also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.2). Encrypted Email's advantage is price (Free vs $7.99) and rating (4.8 vs 3.7). On update cadence, ads, chart position and device support there is nothing between them.

Encrypted Email is free to download; InvenTree costs $7.99 up front. Encrypted Email sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. InvenTree asks for nothing beyond the download.

Encrypted Email holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Encrypted Email has 50K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Encrypted Email's written reviews are positive against 100% of InvenTree's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Encrypted Email ships an update every 11 days, InvenTree weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
