# Encrypted Email vs Emerald

The clearest difference is rating: Encrypted Email at 4.8 against Emerald's 4.0. Encrypted Email also leads on ratings volume (50K vs 1) and chart position (#65 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
