# Encrypted Email vs Added Time

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Added Time at 100% against Encrypted Email's 47%. Added Time also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Encrypted Email's advantage is ratings volume (50K vs 2) and chart position (#61 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Encrypted Email sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Added Time sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
