# 闪电新闻 vs 四川观察

The clearest difference is review sentiment: 闪电新闻 at 100% against 四川观察's 50%. 闪电新闻 also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (3 vs 1). 四川观察's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 2.3) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 四川观察 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. 闪电新闻 asks for nothing beyond the download.

四川观察 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of 闪电新闻's written reviews are positive against 50% of 四川观察's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

闪电新闻 ships an update monthly, 四川观察 weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
