# WeComics TH vs MaReads

The clearest difference is rating: WeComics TH at 3.4 against MaReads's 2.8. WeComics TH also leads on ratings volume (99 vs 4). MaReads's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WeComics TH sells 12 one-off in-app purchases and MaReads sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WeComics TH holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WeComics TH has 99 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 23% of WeComics TH's written reviews are positive against 20% of MaReads's.

WeComics TH ships an update monthly, MaReads fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
