# Dört vs Select 4 Words

The clearest difference is ads: Dört at none against Select 4 Words's shown. Select 4 Words's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 33 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dört sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Select 4 Words sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dört ships an update every 33 months, Select 4 Words every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 17, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
