# Winn vs DealMaps

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DealMaps at 100% against Winn's 14%. DealMaps also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 weeks). Winn's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and ratings volume (29K vs 4). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DealMaps sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Winn asks for nothing beyond the download.

DealMaps holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Winn has 29K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 14% of Winn's written reviews are positive against 100% of DealMaps's.

Winn ships an update every 3 weeks, DealMaps every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
