# iExpand vs iUSB Pro

The clearest difference is ratings volume: iUSB Pro at 1.1K against iExpand's 31. iUSB Pro also leads on rating (2.6 vs 2.4). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

iUSB Pro holds the better App Store score, 2.6 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iUSB Pro has 1.1K ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of iExpand's written reviews are positive against 14% of iUSB Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
