# Mach Drive vs Documents Reader+files browser

The clearest difference is rating: Mach Drive at 4.4 against Documents Reader+files browser's 3.1. Mach Drive also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Documents Reader+files browser's advantage is review sentiment (46% vs 20%) and ratings volume (28 vs 7). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mach Drive sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Documents Reader+files browser sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mach Drive holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 28 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Mach Drive's written reviews are positive against 46% of Documents Reader+files browser's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
