# Shooting Flight Race Simulator vs Vortexika

The clearest difference is rating: Vortexika at 4.6 against Shooting Flight Race Simulator's 4.0. Vortexika also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 19 months) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shooting Flight Race Simulator sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Vortexika sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vortexika holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 52 and 54 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of Shooting Flight Race Simulator's written reviews are positive against 80% of Vortexika's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Shooting Flight Race Simulator ships an update every 19 months, Vortexika every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
