# WeiB Schwarz Translator vs Shadowverse

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: WeiB Schwarz Translator at none against Shadowverse's 12. WeiB Schwarz Translator also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (8.1 vs 15.0). Shadowverse's advantage is rating (3.8 vs 3.3) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 29 months). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shadowverse sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. WeiB Schwarz Translator asks for nothing beyond the download.

Shadowverse holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shadowverse has 1.2K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of WeiB Schwarz Translator's written reviews are positive against 35% of Shadowverse's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WeiB Schwarz Translator ships an update every 29 months, Shadowverse every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
