# Häagen vs Rangeen

Häagen and Rangeen both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Rangeen's written reviews are positive against 43% of Häagen's. Rangeen also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 4 months). Häagen's advantage is ratings volume (3.7K vs 3) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Häagen against 5.0 for Rangeen. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Häagen has 3.7K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 43% of Häagen's written reviews are positive against 100% of Rangeen's.

Häagen ships an update every 4 months, Rangeen every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
