# Light'J vs NDI HX Camera

The clearest difference is rating: NDI HX Camera at 4.4 against Light'J's 3.0. NDI HX Camera also leads on ratings volume (507 vs 1). Light'J's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 11%) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Light'J sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and NDI HX Camera sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NDI HX Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NDI HX Camera has 507 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Light'J's written reviews are positive against 11% of NDI HX Camera's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Light'J ships an update every 2 months, NDI HX Camera every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
