# The Lauschtour App vs Velociped Guide

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Velociped Guide at none against The Lauschtour App's 4. The Lauschtour App's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (86 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Lauschtour App sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Velociped Guide asks for nothing beyond the download.

The Lauschtour App holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Lauschtour App has 86 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 96% of The Lauschtour App's written reviews are positive against 100% of Velociped Guide's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

The Lauschtour App ships an update every 3 months, Velociped Guide every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
