# MiniLuxe vs BAC Buddy

The clearest difference is ads: BAC Buddy at none against MiniLuxe's shown. BAC Buddy also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 36%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). MiniLuxe's advantage is rating (3.2 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (62 vs 6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MiniLuxe holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MiniLuxe has 62 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of MiniLuxe's written reviews are positive against 50% of BAC Buddy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
