# Sirens and Horns + vs Real Drum Kit

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Real Drum Kit at 100% against Sirens and Horns +'s 63%. Real Drum Kit also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 18 months). Sirens and Horns +'s advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and rating (4.4 vs 4.0). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Real Drum Kit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Sirens and Horns + asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sirens and Horns + holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sirens and Horns + has 76 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Sirens and Horns +'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Real Drum Kit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sirens and Horns + ships an update every 18 months, Real Drum Kit every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
