# Funny Ringtones + vs Ask for Google Assistant App

The clearest difference is rating: Funny Ringtones + at 4.4 against Ask for Google Assistant App's 3.3. Funny Ringtones + also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (1.7K vs 13). Ask for Google Assistant App's advantage is review sentiment (69% vs 41%) and update cadence (every 5 months vs every 18 months). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ask for Google Assistant App sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Funny Ringtones + asks for nothing beyond the download.

Funny Ringtones + holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Funny Ringtones + has 1.7K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of Funny Ringtones +'s written reviews are positive against 69% of Ask for Google Assistant App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Funny Ringtones + ships an update every 18 months, Ask for Google Assistant App every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
