# Scary Sounds and Effects vs Scream Button HD Sounds PRO

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Scream Button HD Sounds PRO at 100% against Scary Sounds and Effects's 45%. Scream Button HD Sounds PRO also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). Scary Sounds and Effects's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.5) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). Both are free to download. Scream Button HD Sounds PRO sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Scary Sounds and Effects asks for nothing beyond the download.

Scary Sounds and Effects holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scary Sounds and Effects has 206 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Scary Sounds and Effects's written reviews are positive against 100% of Scream Button HD Sounds PRO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
