# WJEV vs DTVC+

The clearest difference is rating: WJEV at 5.0 against DTVC+'s 1.9. WJEV also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). DTVC+'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 32 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WJEV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DTVC+ has 42 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WJEV ships an update every 32 months, DTVC+ fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
