# VCPL Mobile vs Ivy Tech Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: Ivy Tech Mobile at 4.7 against VCPL Mobile's 3.4. Ivy Tech Mobile also leads on ratings volume (389 vs 7) and update cadence (every 5 months vs every 12 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ivy Tech Mobile holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ivy Tech Mobile has 389 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of VCPL Mobile's written reviews are positive against 95% of Ivy Tech Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VCPL Mobile ships an update every 12 months, Ivy Tech Mobile every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
