# RA Guide vs Submerge

The clearest difference is update cadence: RA Guide at weekly against Submerge's every 5 months. RA Guide also leads on ratings volume (8.1K vs 3) and chart position (#54 vs unranked). Submerge's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for RA Guide against 5.0 for Submerge. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RA Guide has 8.1K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

RA Guide ships an update weekly, Submerge every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
