# RA Guide vs Monegros

The clearest difference is monetization model: Monegros at free against RA Guide's free with in-app purchases. Monegros also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 52%). RA Guide's advantage is ratings volume (8.2K vs 13) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for RA Guide against 5.0 for Monegros. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RA Guide has 8.2K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 52% of RA Guide's written reviews are positive against 67% of Monegros's.

RA Guide ships an update every 11 days, Monegros every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
