# Marantz AVR Remote vs Stream Utility

The clearest difference is rating: Stream Utility at 3.7 against Marantz AVR Remote's 2.0. Stream Utility also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). Marantz AVR Remote's advantage is ratings volume (625 vs 6) and review sentiment (21% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Stream Utility holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Marantz AVR Remote has 625 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.
