# mySALONapp vs MyDyson™

The clearest difference is rating: MyDyson™ at 4.6 against mySALONapp's 2.3. MyDyson™ also leads on ratings volume (36K vs 7) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). mySALONapp's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (39% vs 29%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MyDyson™ holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyDyson™ has 36K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of mySALONapp's written reviews are positive against 29% of MyDyson™'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
