# AXENT Remote vs TP

The clearest difference is rating: AXENT Remote at 4.0 against TP's 2.3. TP's advantage is ratings volume (59 vs 5). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AXENT Remote holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TP has 59 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of AXENT Remote's written reviews are positive against 32% of TP's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AXENT Remote ships an update monthly, TP every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
