# DUO vs Keepsake AI

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: DUO at none against Keepsake AI's 4. DUO also leads on review sentiment (13% vs 0%) and ratings volume (52 vs 7). Keepsake AI's advantage is rating (2.1 vs 1.9). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Keepsake AI sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. DUO asks for nothing beyond the download.

Keepsake AI holds the better App Store score, 2.1 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DUO has 52 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of DUO's written reviews are positive against 0% of Keepsake AI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DUO ships an update every 5 weeks, Keepsake AI every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
