# Nu vs Loop Practice

The clearest difference is rating: Loop Practice at 5.0 against Nu's 4.3. Loop Practice also leads on review sentiment (75% vs 50%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). Nu's advantage is ratings volume (63 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nu sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Loop Practice sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Loop Practice holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nu has 63 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of Nu's written reviews are positive against 75% of Loop Practice's.

Nu ships an update every 3 months, Loop Practice every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
