# СушиВесла vs Samurai

СушиВесла and Samurai both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 36% of Samurai's written reviews are positive against 7% of СушиВесла's. Samurai also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). СушиВесла's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (80 vs 7). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for СушиВесла against 4.4 for Samurai. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: СушиВесла has 80 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 7% of СушиВесла's written reviews are positive against 36% of Samurai's.

СушиВесла ships an update every 3 weeks, Samurai every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
