# LEx vs ORIGEN

The clearest difference is rating: ORIGEN at 5.0 against LEx's 1.0. LEx's advantage is ratings volume (40 vs 1) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ORIGEN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LEx has 40 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 20, 2026 respectively.
