# Math Vs Aliens vs Mars

The clearest difference is rating: Mars at 4.8 against Math Vs Aliens's 3.9. Mars also leads on ratings volume (22K vs 8). Math Vs Aliens's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mars sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Math Vs Aliens asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mars holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mars has 22K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Math Vs Aliens's written reviews are positive against 91% of Mars's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
