# Envoy vs POSSE Mobile Inspect

The clearest difference is review sentiment: POSSE Mobile Inspect at 100% against Envoy's 18%. POSSE Mobile Inspect also leads on iOS requirement (12.4 vs 17.0). Envoy's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 2.0) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Envoy holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Envoy has 18K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of Envoy's written reviews are positive against 100% of POSSE Mobile Inspect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Envoy ships an update weekly, POSSE Mobile Inspect every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
