# Envoy vs Linear Mobile

Envoy and Linear Mobile both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 57% of Linear Mobile's written reviews are positive against 18% of Envoy's. Envoy's advantage is ratings volume (18K vs 2.2K). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Envoy against 4.8 for Linear Mobile. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Envoy has 18K ratings behind it against 2.2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 18% of Envoy's written reviews are positive against 57% of Linear Mobile's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
