# Brenntag vs Alight Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: Alight Mobile at 4.8 against Brenntag's 3.7. Alight Mobile also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (302K vs 3). Brenntag's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 28%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16.6.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Alight Mobile holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alight Mobile has 302K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Brenntag's written reviews are positive against 28% of Alight Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Brenntag ships an update every 7 months, Alight Mobile every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
