# Countdown vs Printt

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Countdown at 80% against Printt's 17%. Countdown also leads on rating (4.7 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (24K vs 49). Printt's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Printt asks for nothing beyond the download.

Countdown holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Countdown has 24K ratings behind it against 49, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 80% of Countdown's written reviews are positive against 17% of Printt's.

Countdown ships an update weekly, Printt every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
