# Countdown vs Situ

The clearest difference is ads: Situ at none against Countdown's shown. Countdown's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Situ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Countdown ships an update every 5 days, Situ every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
